Team Kim, the women's national curling team, advanced to the final of the world championship for the first time in Korean curling history.

Tim Kim defeated Tim Inasson of Canada 9-6 in the semi-finals of the 2022 Women's World Curling Championships in Prince George, Canada.

It is the first time that Korean curling has advanced to the finals of the World Championships in both men's and women's quads and mixed duos.

Tim Kim, who had a slight lead 4-3 until the 6th end, faced a crisis by allowing 3 runs in the 7th end.

Tim Kim, who had straightened the line, scored two points in the 8th end to balance the game, and then stole a point in the 9th end (scoring from the first end) and succeeded in the comeback.

Canada aimed for a comeback in the 10th end, but rather Tim Kim made it to the final by stealing two points thanks to captain Eun-jung Kim's calm draw shot.

Team Kim, who reached the final, will face off against Team Tirinzoni of Switzerland at 8 am tomorrow (28th) for the championship.

Switzerland, who advanced to the semifinals by winning all 12 of the qualifying rounds, advanced to the final by defeating Sweden's Team Hasselborg 7-5 in the semi-finals.

Tim Kim, who lost 8-5 to Switzerland in the preliminary round, is challenged to win the gold medal at the world championship for the first time in Korean curling history with a lust for Switzerland, which he met again in the final.

Korea's best performance ever was that 'Team Minji' of Chuncheon City Hall won the bronze medal at the 2019 competition.

Tim Kim finished 5th in the team's best performance in the 2018 competition.
