French star Paul Pogba, Manchester United player, says that his conversion to Islam gave him strength and answers to many questions he used to ask himself about many life issues.

He explains, "I always asked myself why this or that thing happened to me in life, especially when I went through crises, and Islam revealed to me the reasons for my existence in life."

He added that Islam "has opened my eyes to many things, and there are more important things than sports and football in life, and taught me not to take things too seriously because everything is predestined, and your destiny is written and you cannot change it."

He concluded, "We Muslims must act in a decent manner and present a good model to the world, and this is the message of our Prophet (Muhammad), peace and blessings be upon him. We must provide aid to charities, smile at others and be good people in the world."

Pogba had admitted that he was not born a Muslim even though his mother was a Muslim, revealing that he was introduced to the Islamic religion by virtue of his proximity to some of his Muslim friends, and not under the influence of the family.

He revealed - earlier - that he converted to Islam after he prayed with his friends and felt psychological comfort, stressing that he would adhere to the teachings of religion because it makes him a better person.

And the British newspaper “Daily Mail” quoted Pogba as saying that he was asking himself about many things before he converted to Islam and became “more calm from within”, and that his going through a difficult period in his life made him decide to learn about religion and follow a number of His friends have recourse to faith.

The Manchester United star confirmed that Islam made him a better person.
