Sweden fell in the World Cup semi-final against Switzerland and had to aim for the bronze match against Canada later on Sunday.

And it became even.

Sweden led 3-2 after four rounds, and increased to 4-2 in the fifth.

Before that, the team had followed to 2-2.

- It is very even.

It is small coincidences that will decide, we know that, said SVT's expert Eva Lund in SVT's broadcast.

In the sixth round, Canada put pressure on Sweden with a three-pointer until 5-4.

But Sweden answered and equalized to 5-5 before the eighth.

- This match will probably not be decided until the last stone in the final round, or if we even need an arbitration round to separate the teams.

It will probably be very, very exciting in the end, said Eva Lund.

After two Canadian points in the eighth round until 7-5 and zero points in the ninth, Sweden was pressured to turn around a two-point deficit in the tenth and final regular round.

Skipper Anna Hasselborg managed the pressure and equalized to 7-7 with the last stone - and took the bronze match to the arbitration.

Even there, Hasselborg got the chance to decide when she and Canadian skipper Kerri Einarson were set against each other with the last two stones.

Canada took advantage of the last stone - and took the chance.

Einarson got rid of Sweden's stone and won the World Cup bronze.

- They (Sweden) have made a good tournament, but there have been small mistakes that made it because "it" will only be a fourth place and no medal that we are used to, says SVT's expert Eva Lund.

SVT broadcasts the World Cup final between Switzerland and South Korea tonight, starting at 01.00.
