Al-Ahly of Egypt announces the recovery of 4 players and their return to training

The Egyptian Al-Ahly Club announced today, Sunday, that Mohamed Hani, Percy Tau and Ahmed Nabil Kouka, the club's first football trio, have recovered from the injuries they sustained.

The official website of Al-Ahly of Egypt stated that Mohamed Hani and South African Percy Tau participated in the team's group training, which took place this evening in preparation for the Sudanese Al-Hilal match scheduled for April 3 in the sixth and final round of the first group competitions in the African Champions League.

The same source added that Hani participated in the training after recovering from his injury to the adductor muscle and completing the rehabilitation program, which he implemented during the last period, while Tao recovered from a knee bruise he suffered during the Sudanese Mars match.

 And the same source continued, "Ahmed Nabil Kouka, the team's midfielder, started today a new stage in his rehabilitation program, which he is implementing after recovering from complications from infection with the Corona virus, which kept him from participating in group training with the team during the last period."

He explained, "Koka underwent medical examinations during the past days to check on his condition and to ensure his readiness and recovery before implementing the rehabilitation program, to prepare him to return to participating in group training again."

Al-Ahly of Egypt resumed its training today, Sunday, after the end of the rest period that the team obtained for 8 days, after the Sudanese Mars match that was held at Al-Salam Stadium in the African Champions League, which Al-Ahly won 3/1.

The South African Sun Downs team leads the first group with 13 points, followed by Al-Ahly of Egypt with seven points, then Al-Hilal of Sudan with four points, while Al-Merreikh of Sudan is at the bottom of the standings with four points.
