Satoko Miyahara, who finished 4th in the Pyeongchang Olympics figure skating and women's singles, has announced on her blog that she will retire.

Miyahara is 24 years old from Kyoto prefecture.

He started playing competitions from an early age and was instructed by coach Mie Hamada, who raised many top skaters.

In addition to his high expressiveness, he performed 5 types of 3-turn jumps with stable sliding, and was active as a top player in Japan with his performance that minimized mistakes.

He won the 2014 All Japan Championship for the first time and won the silver medal for the first time in the 2015 World Championship.

He won the silver medal at the Grand Prix Final of the year.

At the 2017 All Japan Championship, he won the tournament for the first time since Mao Asada and was selected as the representative of the Pyeongchang Olympics.

However, at her last year's All Japan Championship, where she aimed to participate in the Olympic Games for the second time in a row, she was not elected as a representative because she could not slide with the original sense of stability due to mistakes such as falling on a jump.

On the 26th of his 24th birthday, Miyahara wrote on his blog, "This season, I have faced myself the most in my skating life and spent my days cherishing. I can't do more than ever. It was a season where I practiced until I was satisfied and faced the game. I am full of feelings that I have done it without regrets. "

Regarding her future, she says, "I have many dreams for her, but first I want to master my skating as a professional skater and use my experience to break new ground." ..
