After last season's goal success in Real Sociedad, it has been far from the same dividend for Alexander Isak.

It has been almost three months since he last scored, then in a cup match against Leganes.

And in the league he has only managed four hits.

- At club team level, I have not reached the level I want to be at, and it is especially clear in points.

It is as it is and I continue to work hard to get back to my level.

In the national team, I think I have done well.

Of course there are matches where I have not reached the top level, but it feels good and I have quite an easy time distinguishing between club and national teams.

It is completely different when you come in here and get new energy, says Isak at Friday's press conference with the national team.

Isak says that despite the missed goal harvest, he feels in good shape.

But as a striker, it is not possible to get away from the fact that the goal scorer is something you think about.

- It is clear that I think about it a little.

We strikers live to score goals and it is clear that you are not completely happy with it.

But like I said, I try not to dig in too much.

I get to take and evaluate my season when it's over and there's a bit left.

It is important for me to finish as nicely as possible, he says.

"Then we create dangers"

The Swedish attacking game has some impact in the form of, among others, Isak, Dejan Kulusevski and Emil Forsberg.

But things have been slow there.

Robin Quaison's goal in extra time was the first since the match against Greece in October, but no goals have been scored in regular time in three matches.

- We know that once we get the ball down the hill and manage to find each other, we forwards and utter, then we create dangers.

You could see that several times yesterday.

But it is important for us to succeed several times during a match.

It feels like when we get to the last third, something dangerous happens, says Isak.
