At the microphone of Jacques Vendroux and Cyrille de La Morinerie, Hugo Lloris goes back in time and talks about his childhood in Nice, when he did not dream of football, but of tennis with an American hero.

"Pete Sampras! He's the only athlete I've had posted in my room," he explains.

"A very particular, very specific game profile. An attacking player with his legendary serve and volley."

Little Hugo has grown up.

From Nice to Lyon, then Tottenham for ten years already.

But for the captain of the Blues, "it has never been an obsession": "We are getting closer, always with so much pride, with so many honors and trying to answer present for the France team", he assures.

At 35, Hugo Lloris refuses to say if the World Cup in Qatar, in eight months, will be his last goal.

What is certain is that he wants to win it at all costs and add a third star to this blue jersey, which he has been wearing for almost fifteen years.
