FIFA opens the second window for selling tickets for the 2022 World Cup

Today, the International Football Association (FIFA) launched the second window of the first phase of selling tickets for the Qatar World Cup 2022, about a week before the final draw for the global football wedding.

And FIFA indicated in a statement on its official website that this window, which will last until the twenty-ninth of this March, will be on the basis of “first come, first served.”

He added that in this window also, "which is considered the last before the final draw of the tournament, as it is expected that the demand will increase after the teams' confrontations are revealed, and during this period of sales we will provide tickets for all matches except for the opening and final matches."

He pointed out that the purchase process will be divided into categories: one match ticket available for all matches except for the opening and final matches, a series of tickets for a specific team throughout its participation, and a series of four stadium tickets that allow its holder to attend four matches and different stadiums respectively, in addition to tickets for people with special needs. .

Qatar, which will host between November 21 and December 18, the first championship in the Middle East and the Arab world, boasts of the proximity between stadiums, which allows easy movement for fans and attends more than one match per day.

The second stage of sales will start after the final lottery, which will be held on April 1, 2022.

FIFA had set promotional discounted prices for tickets, amounting to approximately $11 for residents and residents, while ticket prices for foreign fans amounted to $69, or about a third of the ticket price in the World Cup in Russia 2018, but the ticket for the final match may reach about $1,607.
