26 players representing the UAE in the "Asian Jiu-Jitsu" in Bahrain

Today, the UAE Jiu-Jitsu team entered the final stage of its closed camp, in preparation for traveling the day after tomorrow in order to participate in the sixth edition of the Asian Championship, which will be hosted by the Bahraini capital, Manama, from 28 to 31 January.

The team’s delegation includes 26 players, including Zayed Al Kathiri, Thiab Al Nuaimi, Omar Al Fadli, Khaled Al Shehhi, Muhammad Ali Al Suwaidi, Farraj Al Awlaki, Muhammad Al Ameri, Mahdi Al Awlaki, Faisal Al Ketbi, Saeed Al Kubaisi, Abdullah Al Kubaisi and Hazaa Farhan.

As for the women’s team, the list includes Hamda Al-Shukaili, Shawq Al-Dhanhani, Balqis Abdullah, Sharifa Al-Noamani, Asma Al-Hosani, Maitha Sultan, Bashayer Al-Matrooshi, Maha Al-Hinai, Shamma Al-Kalbani, Haya Al-Jahouri, Mahra Mahfouz, Marwa Al-Hosani, Tasneem Al-Jahouri and Maryam Al-Amri.

The training of players and players continues amid great interest from members of the technical and administrative staff in all details, and weights, psychological preparation, and final touches are currently being reviewed before heading to Manama to compete for the title with the aim of retaining it and confirming staying at the forefront of the Asian continent.
