Real Madrid decides Ancelotti's fate after the scandal against Barcelona
The Spanish newspaper, "Marca", revealed Real Madrid's position on the dismissal of its Italian coach, Carlo Ancelotti, after a heavy 4-0 defeat against rivals Barcelona, on Sunday, in the Spanish League.
The newspaper said, "The Real Madrid administration does not intend to dismiss Ancelotti from his position despite the great defeat in the Clasico," adding that "The Real Madrid administration places its full confidence in Ancelotti, and is not considering ending his contract, which extends for another season."
And the newspaper pointed out that "Ancelotti, if he succeeds in achieving an important title with Real Madrid this season, will continue to lead the technical leadership of the team in the new season."
Real Madrid leads the La Liga standings, nine points behind runner-up Seville and 12 points from third Barcelona.
