A total of ten million tickets will be available to attend the events.

In the summer of 2024, France will host the biggest sporting event in the world, namely the Olympic Games (OG).

The Paris 2024 Organizing Committee unveiled the ticket sales schedule on Monday evening.

Ten million tickets will be available to offer a moment of sharing with the athletes, not to mention the tickets planned for the Paralympic Games, 3.4 million.

A draw to allocate purchase slots

One thing is certain: Paris is thinking big.

"Overall, the Football World Cup is 3.4 million tickets, the Rugby World Cup and the European Football Championship are 2.5 million tickets. However, there are generally has an even stronger demand than what we can offer to people", underlines Michaël Aloïsio, chief of staff of the Organizing Committee.

The underlying question: how to acquire the places?

A draw system will be set up.

Registration will start at the end of this year with ticket packs first.

The winners of the draw will be notified by email and will have a slot of several hours in February 2023 to buy the packs still available that interest them.

Affordable rates

In spring 2023, a second draw will take place for single tickets.

And at the end of 2023, the last places for the Olympics will be on sale on the site.

The Organizing Committee wanted affordable prices since one million places, whatever the sport, will be offered at 24 euros.

For the Paralympic Games, whose ticket office will be launched in a year and a half, the call price will be even more accessible: 15 euros.
