The Barcelona team won the title of the fifth edition of the "Dubai Confederations Cup for Under-13 Football", which was organized by the Dubai Sports Council during the period from 18 to 20 March, with the participation of more than 300 players and a large audience.

The Italian team AC Milan ranked second, while Porto of Portugal came third.

Al-Ahly youth won first place in the Silver Cup competition, followed by Al-Nasr in second place, and the Egyptian Z team in third place.

Barcelona's Lo Martinez Goncadilla won the award for the best player of the tournament, while AC Milan's Rosso Ryan won the tournament's top scorer award, and Spain's Red Knights goalkeeper Adrian Ferrero was named the best goalkeeper in the tournament.

The winners were crowned by the Assistant Secretary-General of the Dubai Sports Council, Nasser Aman Al Rahma, the two former Real Madrid stars, Iker Casillas and Michel Salgado, the former Egyptian national team player, Mohamed Zidan, and the Director of the Sports Development Department at the Dubai Sports Council, Ali Omar.

16 teams participated in the tournament: Al Nasr, Al Wasl, Shabab Al Ahly, Al Wahda, Ajman and two teams from the Spanish Knights School in Dubai as representatives of the Emirates, Barcelona of Spain, A.C. A statement by the Dubai Sports Council said that the keenness to hold the Confederations Championship comes within the framework of a comprehensive plan adopted by the Dubai Sports Council to organize sports tournaments for various age groups for juniors with local and international participation.

The Dubai Sports Council plan also includes organizing various tournaments, starting with Omar Al-Baraem, the Dubai Sports Council Championship for Private Academies, and the Summer Course for Football Academies.

The statement added: "Such tournaments constitute an Emirati national product that the Dubai Sports Council proudly presents to the world, and is being developed annually to be at the forefront of sporting events for all age groups."
