This is the first women's doubles title on the WTA Tour since the pairing, and the level of the event is second only to the majors.

In the first set of the women's doubles final, Xu Yifan/Yang Zhaoxuan were broken in the second game, and Mohammad/Chai Yuanyingcai took a 3-0 lead after securing serve in the third game.

However, the Chinese combination did not give up. In the 9th and 11th innings, they broke Mohammad/Eina Shibahara's serve in a row, and finally won the first set with a 7-5 reversal.

In the second set, neither side was able to break the opponent's serve, and the game entered the tie-break.

The Chinese girl scored 5 points in a row after falling behind 1-3, won 3 match points with 6-3, and finally cashed in the second match point, winning the first championship since the pairing of the two.

After the game, both Chinese girls were very happy.

Yang Zhaoxuan said that we were lucky to enter the game because someone quit in the last half hour.

Xu Yifan/Yang Zhaoxuan were the women's doubles champions at the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games, and they were also the women's doubles champions at the Shaanxi National Games last year.
