Armand Duplantis is back on Swedish soil.

Last night he took World Cup gold and set a new world record (6.19).

The 22-year-old landed at Arlanda shortly after nine on Monday.

- It's tough now.

I need to sleep soon, Duplantis smiles when he meets the press.

"The best feeling"

He celebrated with his girlfriend Desiré, mother Helena and father Greg afterwards.

- It's the best feeling.

To jump well and get to celebrate with the family.

It is fun.

Shortly after the record jump, Duplantis said he barely understood what he had done yet.

He still has not done so.

- I do not even know if I have looked at hope.

Right after, so much was happening.

I have not had time to land in it yet.
