World Cup gold and new world record.

Armand Duplantis lived up to expectations during the World Indoor Championships in Belgrade on Sunday.

6.20 became the new world record.

He already secured the gold with 6.05.

After that jump, the 22-year-old offered an unexpected dance.

Vlad (Vladimir Petrovic, coach) has been a teacher here in Belgrade.

He said they have a tradition with a dance called Kolo.

It was fun to give the audience a traditional Serbian folk dance.

I learned it on the bus on the way to the competition and watched a Youtube video.

I hope the audience liked it, says Duplantis at the press conference afterwards.
