Ahead of the final World Cup slalom competition, Kristoffersen is in pole position in the slalom cup with his 371 points.

But the victory is far from secured, as Lucas Braathen - 48 points behind - has given himself the opportunity to go past Kristoffersen.

After the first run, it is triple Norwegian in the lead.

Braathen leads, but only five hundredths ahead of Kristoffersen.

Third place goes to Atle Lie McGrath.

Jakobsen nine after the first run

Swedish Kristoffer Jakobsen is ninth, 0.92 seconds behind Lucas Braathen.

Ahead of this weekend's final World Cup competition, the 27-year-old said that after eight straight rounds, he would change tactics.

- Before, it has been a lot that I just want to get down and now I shit in it.

Now I just want to ski well again so it's probably on the right track, that you have crossed the border and shit in how it goes.

Now I just want to make good turns, Jakobsen said earlier this week.

And it was a very relieved Henrik who met SVT Sport after the first run.

- Finally, it felt really good, now I'm on my way to the second run, he says.

national team manager Lars Melin after Jakobsen's first run:

- This was exactly what he needed.

Accelerate when possible, but with balance, says Melin.

The second run starts at 13.30.
