The competition is called Rally Jameel and is part of a project with the aim of lifting women in motorsport.

For Annie Seel, it was obvious for her to line up with a Swedish team.

"Driving a car is something we all can and must do"

Rally Jameel lasted for three days with participants from 15 different countries where 34 all-female teams participated.

The Swedish team consisted of Annie Seel and second driver Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky.

“So glad I got the chance to share a car with Annie, has learned a lot from her navigation and Dakar skills.

The most important thing about the whole rally was still to inspire all female generations to motorsport, driving a car is something we all can and must do!

That we also write history as the overall winner in the first all-female off-road rally is obviously a plus on the edge ", says Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky in a press release.

The competitions were run for over 900 kilometers in desert landscapes.
