Women's badminton ace Sei-Young Ahn lost to her rival, Yamaguchi of Japan, in the final of the All English Open, and unfortunately took the runner-up place.

Ahn Se-young, who reached the final by beating Tai Ziing of Taiwan, the world No. 1 in the semi-final, raised expectations for the women's singles championship for the first time in 26 years since Suh Su-hyeon in 1996. The wall could not be crossed.

Se-Young Ahn chased 14 to 18 in the 1st set and 14 to 16 in the 2nd set, but her back was lacking.

She couldn't get up with Ahn Se-young who lost points despite her throwing defense, but she eventually won her silver medal as she lost 2-0 to Yamuguchi.

However, Se-Young Ahn, at the young age of 17, has a lot of potential for her growth, so she expects to do better next time.
