Six Nations: Italy beat Wales to claim first win in seven years

Italy won its first victory in the Six Nations Tournament since the 2015 edition, on Saturday March 19, by winning on the 5th and last day of this 2022 edition in Cardiff against Wales, holding title.

A try by winger Edoardo Padovani, at the conclusion of a mad dash by Ange Capuozzo, gave Squadra Azzurra victory in the final moments (22-21).

Italy had not won a single match in the tournament since a success gleaned in Scotland (22-19) on February 28, 2015. Between these two victories, it had chained 36 defeats.
