With five kilometers left of the race, Nygaard made a jerk from the rest of the group and it became a bit of drama.

When Nygaard's teammate Johan Hoel got up and started pulling in the chasing cluster.

Something that Nygaard was not happy with.

- I start to pull away and then I see that Johan is up and pulling.

We try to drive as a team.

But it's not entirely okay to do so, so I called on him to let someone else step forward.

So there was a bit of talk there, but that's what happens in the heat of battle, says the Norwegian winner.

Nygaard took home the victory in the men's competition, behind him it was double Swedish on the podium.

Max Novak came second and Emil Persson took third place.
