19-year-old Jacob Ondrejka has got a taste start to the season.

Yttern has been responsible for several strong efforts for Elfsborg in the Swedish Cup.

Among other things, he acted as a match hero when he lowered IFK Gothenburg with a delicious distance shot in the quarter finals.

- We win the match and move on, that is the most important thing in competitive matches.

It may not be our best match in terms of play, but we make it to the semi and that's what counts.

I'm doing well too.

It was fun to become a match hero and score goals against Blåvitt, says Ondrejka to SVT Sport.

"A lot of feelings"

In connection with the goal, the feelings became clear.

He celebrated by putting his finger to his mouth and hugging Blåvitt's heel.

- Yes, haha, there are a lot of emotions when you meet a rival, he says.

Ondrejka is pleased with its start to the year.

And he looks hopefully at the season.

- It has started well and I just want to continue on that track, then we'll see.

For Elfsborg, things can go very well this season.

We always want to aim as high up as possible.

Now that we have started well in the Swedish Cup, we are investing heavily.

We were in the gold battle well into last year, we want to do that again this year, but this time into the last.

It can go all the way this year.

"It will be so much fun"

Now Hammarby is waiting away in the semifinals and it looks like it will be a big audience party.

- It will be fun no matter what.

It is a good team that we have looked at a little and analyzed our own matches.

We know what to do, it works out.

We hope for advancement and always want to win, but we are also humble.

Do you hug Bajen fans if you score?

- It's not something I thought of.

I have not thought about it at all, he concludes.
