2022 has been a successful season for Sara Hector where there have been seven podium places in total, of which four victories.

This weekend, she also has the chance to take home the total giant slalom cup, something that did not happen in 16 years (2003) when Anja Pärson struck.

- Sara has been so strong all season and you can see when she skis how motivated she is in every turn she makes.

It has been very cool and inspiring for me to see.

I think it has been like that for all the women on the tour this season, to see her go giant slalom has been incredible, says the American Mikaela Shiffrin to SVT Sport.

Shiffrin: "Will Mean Everything"

She herself has had the unusual courage to be Shiffrin with a failed Olympics - but she still secured the victory in the overall world cup earlier this week.

How much does the total cup mean to you?

- It has always been a big goal for me to win the overall cup.

Shiffrin has won the overall cup three times before: 2017, 2018 and 2019.
