Middle distance runner Andreas Kramer, 24, comes to the indoor WC in good shape.
Today he runs trials in the 800 meters and after that it is not a semifinal, but the top eight go straight to Saturday's final.
There are four heats and the winner of each plus the four best times beyond that goes to the final.
Kramer is fully focused on the experiments.
- The goal is to take one of the places to the final and once there, I do not aim low.
But I would almost say that it's tougher to get to the final.
Once you are there, you can only drive yours, but it will be tight to get there, he says.
800 meters is often a physical branch - and even more so indoors.
Kramer experienced this when a closure prevented him from running the final at the European Championships in Torun a year ago.
