At the beginning of the second half, Barcelona scored a second goal through its new Gabonese top scorer, Pierre Aubameyang, who received a ball from Dutchman Frenkie de Jong and netted it in the 49th minute.
And the result remained the same until the end of the match, so that Barcelona continued its European career thanks to a home victory, while Galatasaray bid farewell to the competition after a good performance in which it scored positive results against major European teams.
The hosting fans were angry to receive plastic bottles and cups on the field, so the referee decided to stop the match for several minutes, while Galatasaray players tried to calm the fans.
