Contradictory information, denounced by Olympique de Marseille.
The Olympian club issued a press release this Tuesday noon, to "denounce the contradictory information from FC Basel concerning the reception of its supporters on the occasion of the second leg of the UEFA Europa League Conference next Thursday in Switzerland", can we read.
While the Basle county police had taken the decision to ban the movement of OM supporters, the Swiss club published on Monday ticketing procedures reserved for them.
FC Basel calls on them to book in areas outside the visitor parking lot.
“By publishing yesterday afternoon on its website new ticketing procedures reserved for Marseille supporters, while refusing them access to visitor parking, which was nevertheless planned during the preparatory meetings, FC Basel created an organizational context, illegible, unique and dangerous, ”regrets Olympique de Marseille.
The club asks its Swiss counterpart to talk to the Basel police in order to "guarantee the safety of OM supporters", by giving them access to the visitor parking lot.
