The whole football world was shaken by the tragic pictures of Christian Eriksen when he collapsed in the middle of Denmark's European Championship match against Finland this summer. It kept him away from football for a long time and because he had a defibrillator implanted he was forced to break his contract with Inter.

But on February 14, the 30-year-old was back in action for the first time since the incident, when he played 60 minutes in a training match for his new club Brentford.

Now he is also making a comeback in the Danish national team.

Eriksen has been selected in the squad that will play two training matches, against the Netherlands and Serbia, at the end of March.

Denmark is already ready for the WC 2022 in Qatar.
