A new surprise about the cause of the death of Al-Ahly youth goalkeeper Ziad Ihab, revealed by his family

The family of the football goalkeeper, born in 2003 in the Egyptian Al-Ahly club, Ziad Ehab, caused a surprise about the manner and cause of his death, after he died on Sunday after falling from the top of his property in the Matariya area, east of Cairo.

Ehab Gad, the guard's father, denied that his son had committed suicide due to the father's refusal to marry his son to a girl.

The late guard's father told "Sky News Arabia", that "talking about his son's suicide because of his refusal to marry a girl is incorrect," and that "he could never refuse any request to his son."

He explained that "the night before Ziad's death, I found him talking on the phone for a long time that exceeded an hour, so I joked with him, saying: You are obviously talking to a friend, Zizou," and encouraged him to marry, according to his account.

The father continued, "I don't know if Ziad was talking to girls or not, but what I know is that he was very shy even from his friends when they talked to him about girls."

The father of the late Al-Ahly youth goalkeeper said: “The police summoned one of the girls to interrogate her after finding messages exchanged between her and Ziad, but I do not know the nature of the relationship, and my son did not tell me about any marriage at all, and I did not refuse.

this is not true".

He stressed that "he does not know the reason for his fall, but what he knows is that on the day of the accident he went to work since dawn and left his son asleep, which means that there were no arguments between them that would be the reason for his suicide."

But the father said that his son last Thursday “returned from the city of Alexandria very sad because a goal was scored by the Alexandrian youth team in the 90th minute.” He treats us normally afterwards.”

Saadawi Abdo, the uncle of the late goalkeeper, said that Ziad was recently "in a very high spirits, contrary to what is said that he was going through bad psychological conditions."

He explained in an interview with "Sky News Arabia" that his older brother (Ziad's other uncle) was on a visit to his sister's house last week, and "Ziad asked him to renew his room with some carpentry and painting work, which means that he was in good condition, and he did not notice any changes on him." or sadness.
