Last autumn, Fridolina Rolfö switched German Wolfsburg to the big club FC Barcelona.

The Swedish national team star has been a key player in both the national team and the club team and can now call himself a champion.

With seven rounds left, the team was able to secure the league title on Sunday in the summit against Kosovar Asllani's Real Madrid - the club's third straight.

The match ended 5-0, where Rolfö provided an assist.

When SVT Sport talks to the Swedish national team striker, he is "no matter how happy".

- I am incredibly proud and happy about the achievement we have made during the season so far.

Legally, there is not much we can complain about.

We have performed at a very high level and worked very hard in training to make this possible.

It has been exemplary, says Rolfö.

"Contributed in many ways"

How did you celebrate?

- We celebrated in the evening with dinner together with the association, a fantastic way to socialize and enjoy the league victory early on.

It will be a different thing when you can celebrate the victory at home and can celebrate immediately so it was great.

Rolfös Barcelona has 24 victories in as many matches and the Swede is noted for nine goals and ten plays.

- For my own part, it has felt great, I came well with the expectations of having to work very hard to play and have gained a lot of confidence.

I am incredibly happy with what I have achieved and I feel that I have contributed in many ways and scored a lot of points, she says and continues:

- I have played a lot as a fullback as well so I am very happy with the points I could do but above all the team's performance, that we manage to perform at such a high level against good football teams such as Real Madrid.

Family on site in Barcelona

In front of a packed Johan Cruyff arena, Rolfö's friends and family were present.

- It was a magical atmosphere, I fully enjoyed the whole match.

It was nice to have such pressure on the stands and it felt nice to share it with everyone in the stands.
