On March 13, the Chinese sports delegation announced that Yang Hongqiong will serve as the flag bearer of the Chinese sports delegation at the closing ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympics.

  Yang Hongqiong, a cross-country skier from Yunnan, was born in September 1989. She used to be a wheelchair basketball player and joined the National Paralympic cross-country skiing team in 2018.

At this Winter Paralympic Games, she won the gold medals in the women's cross-country skiing group in the short distance, middle distance and long distance in the sitting position, and is the athlete with the most gold medals in the Chinese sports delegation.

On the evening of March 9, the award ceremony for the women's sprint-sitting event in Paralympic cross-country skiing for the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympics was held at the Zhangjiakou Awards Plaza.
