The UAE national team is a champion... and Brazil is a runner-up at the end of the Dubai Tour for Jiu-Jitsu Professionals

The competitions of the Dubai International Tour of the Abu Dhabi Association of Professional Jiu-Jitsu Association, organized by the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Professional Jiu-Jitsu Association, concluded today, Sunday, at the Shabab Al Ahli Club Hall in Dubai.

The championship fights on its closing day were filled with enthusiasm, defiance and strength of performance, to conclude with the crowning of Commando Group champion, Palms Sports in runner-up, and Sharjah Self-Defense Sports in third place.

In the country rankings, the UAE ranked first, ahead of Brazil, the runner-up, and Colombia in third place.

The final day of the championship was attended by Abdel Moneim Al Sayed Mohammed Al Hashemi, President of the UAE and Asian Federations, First Vice President of the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Mohamed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice President of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Yousef Al Batran, member of the Federation’s Board of Directors, and Engineer Azza bint Suleiman, Assistant Secretary-General of the National Olympic Committee Tariq Al Bahri, Director of the Abu Dhabi Professional Jiu-Jitsu Association, Mohammed Hussein Al Marzouqi, Director of Marketing and Communications Department of the Federation, and a number of Federation officials and representatives of clubs and academies in the country.
