On Sunday, the World Cup competitions in skicross will take place in Reiteralm, Austria.

On the women's side, the Swedes Sandra Näslund and Alexandra Edebo participate.

The latter went out in the last quarter-final heat - and crashed badly.

She was first crowded and ended up behind.

When she then tried to pick up speed and keep up with the lead, she got a twist in her left leg which caused one of the skis to run away.

Edebo crashed and landed hard on his hip.

However, the airbag was triggered and the 26-year-old was able to get up with the help of staff on site.

However, the severity of the crash is still unclear.

Countryman Sandra Näslund is on to the semifinals after winning her quarterfinal heat.

The competitions are in progress.
