For the first time ever, a mixed sprint relay, where ladies and gentlemen compete with each other, in cross-country skiing on Sunday in Falun.

Then the Swedish team, with Jonna Sundling and Calle Halfvarsson, made the process short with their competitors.

The duo, who had the second fastest time in the qualifiers, opened at a furious pace on the final pass and connected the grip on the victory immediately.

After five kilometers, the duo had a lead of just over ten seconds down to Norway in second place.

At seven kilometers, the lead had increased to a full 22 seconds.

After that, the company Sundling / Halfvarsson was able to control the race and finally won in a totally superior style before the two Norwegian teams.

The final Swedish duo with Johanna Hagström and Oskar Svensson was also in the final.

The duo was long in the fight for a podium place but ended up in fifth place.
