"Al-Adhra" snatches the open sword of Al-Laqaya at the conclusion of the "Al-Wusta Camel Festival"

The "Adhra" won the open allegaya competition sword at the conclusion of the Al Wusta Canal Camel Racing Festival, which was held in the Sharjah Club Square in its second edition, for the two categories of Al-Haqqa and Al-Laqaya over 52 runs, in which more than 2,600 camels of the region's people from the different Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries participated. His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, witnessed the closing of the Al Wusta Canal Camel Racing Festival, in the presence of Sheikh Muhammad Ma’aded Ali bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Sheikh Muhammad Mu’adhd Saeed bin Howaiden Al Ketbi and Muhammad Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority, and the heads and members of the councils and directors of government departments and institutions in the Emirate of Sharjah, and the competitions were characterized by strength and excitement, and at the conclusion of the festival, His Highness the Deputy Ruler crowned the winners and honored the entities that contributed to this heritage event.

The “Adhra” of Sultan Salem Hamad Al-Ketbi deserved to obtain the open Allaqaya sword after covering the distance in a time of 7:25:89 minutes, while the “Theeb” of Musaed bin Suwaid Al-Mansoori obtained the open Allaqaya dagger, cutting the distance in a time of 7:28:02 minutes. As for the third round, “Rahaf” went to Obaid bin Sultan Obaid bin Markhan Al Ketbi in a time of 7:36:21 minutes, and “Nawad” won by Abdullah bin Ghasab, patron of Al-Tira, in the fourth round.

And in the morning period designated for relays, “Qashmara” owned by Jamal Mubarak bin Sebaa Al Ketbi was crowned with the sword of the ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah after covering the race distance in 7:31:42 minutes. After he crossed the distance in a time of 7:26:76 minutes, and "Shawahin" by Saqr Sultan bin Howidan Al-Ketbi topped the third half with a time of 7:36:18 minutes, and the fourth half was for "problems" by Ali bin Rashid Al-Ketbi in a time and worth. 7:36:18 minutes, and “Corner” by Hussain Ali Hussein Al-Nuaimi won the fifth set in a time of 7:35:78 minutes, and “Mubasher” by Saeed bin Suhail Deliwi Al-Ketbi led the sixth set in a time of 7:33:09 minutes, and won “ Shaheen” by Rashid bin Nasser Al Ghailani in the seventh round in a time of 7:37:52 minutes.
