Bayern Munich has stumbled again on the way to their tenth championship title in a row.

On the 26th match day of the Bundesliga, the front runners were unable to get beyond a 1-1 (1-1) draw at TSG Hoffenheim and thus had to accept the second draw in a row.

Robert Lewandowski (45+3) scored for Munich, who matched Werder Bremen's previous record with their 1934th Bundesliga game.

The Kraichgauer, for whom Christoph Baumgartner was successful (32nd), missed the fifth win in a row and thus the setting of their club record.

Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann returned to his old place of work four days after the comfortable entry into the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

"I had nine very nice years here," said Nagelsmann shortly before kick-off at Sky: "It was the most formative time of my life so far."

This also applies to Andrej Kramaric, at least from a sporting point of view.

The Croatian runner-up has therefore extended his contract with TSG until June 2025. The 30-year-old has been playing for Hoffenheim since January 2016 and has since become Kraichgau's record goalscorer.

The 25,600 spectators in Sinsheim saw a strong start for Hoffenheim.

In the fifth minute, Kramaric missed a double chance.

After that, Bayern took control.

Former Hoffenheim Serge Gnabry (10th), Thomas Müller (16th) and Leroy Sane (21st) were unable to take advantage of the opportunities.

Baumgartner did better on the other side.

The Austrian converted a cross from national player David Raum.

After falling behind, the guests, with 19-year-old Jamal Musiala playing his 50th Bundesliga game as the youngest Bayern professional in history, pushed for an equalizer.

First, the Munich team, who had to do without Alphonso Davies, Leon Goretzka and Corentin Tolisso, only managed offside goals – until Lewandowski headed a corner from Joshua Kimmich into the goal.

It was the Pole's 29th goal of the season and also his 17th away goal - only Jupp Heynckes (1973/74) and Timo Werner (2019/20) had managed that in a previous season.

At the beginning of the second half, Bayern increased the number of strokes again.

The hosts, who were missing Ermin Bicakcic, Benjamin Hübner, Havard Nordtveit, Chris Richards, Sebastian Rudy and Robert Skov, were forced onto the defensive.

Sane missed two top-class players (50th/54th).

Even bigger was the chance that Gnabry, who broke free, missed in the 68th minute.

Seconds later, Musiala should have scored.

In the 72nd minute, Müller failed to get the ball over the line.

The big chance to make Hoffenheim 2-1 was missed by Kramaric (79th).
