Matar criticizes a player in Al-Ain who provoked Al-Wahda fans

Al Wahda captain, Ismail Matar, criticized the behavior of one of the Al Ain players in provoking his club's fans after the match that brought the two teams together at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi today as part of the 19th round of the ADNOC Professional League.

Matar said in televised statements: "There is a player from Al Ain Club, whose name I do not want to mention, who tried to provoke our fans after the match, and this behavior is not acceptable to him or anyone else. There were fans of Al-Ain who were in the stands, and he had to celebrate with them."

He added: "My duty is to prevent such behavior, and anyone who does not respect the people of my house, I will prevent him, even if this person is my brother, in the end it is football, and there is a winner and a defeated, and today Al-Ain won, and we congratulate him and his fans, but that the feelings of our fans are manipulated. This is totally unacceptable."

Al Wahda lost to Al Ain 1-0, bringing the difference between them to seven points.
