Barcelona moves to sign Mohamed Salah after negotiations with Liverpool stopped

After negotiations between the Egyptian star and English Premier League scorer Mohamed Salah and the Liverpool administration regarding the renewal of his contract stopped, the Spanish club Barcelona entered the line, as the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo stated that Barcelona would move officially to include Mohamed Salah from Liverpool in the event that the player’s negotiations with the Reds administration failed from contract extension deadline.

She explained that the contract of the Egyptian King, Mohamed Salah, ends in June 2023, which facilitates the process of his departure from Liverpool next summer, despite the wonderful performance he has shown with the club in the last five seasons.

Salah's contract expires in the summer of 2023, and Liverpool may move to sell him at the end of this season to benefit financially from him instead of leaving him for free.

It seems that Mohamed Salah is close to leaving his team at the end of the current season, in light of his failure to reach an agreement with the club's management to renew his contract.

This comes after the state of tension in the past hours with Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp's statements that the club did everything for Salah and made his offer and the matter became the player's decision, while the player's agent Rami Abbas responded to Klopp's statements with sarcasm and published laughter symbols on his personal account.

Mohamed Salah asks for a weekly salary of 500,000 euros and may agree to 400,000 euros, but the Liverpool administration believes that this amount is large and does not fit with the salary policy that it follows, and believes that Mohamed Salah has advanced in age and is on the verge of his thirties, and offers him a weekly salary. It amounts to 300,000 euros, which made negotiations falter between the two parties and reach a dead end.
