Al-Ahly of Egypt submits an official complaint to the observer of the Sun Downs match in the African Champions League

 The Egyptian Al-Ahly Club announced that it submitted an official complaint to the observer of the first team football match against Sun Downs, to prove that the team bus was disrupted and prevented from reaching the match stadium on time.

And the official website of Al-Ahly Al-Masry stated today, Saturday, that Dr. Mohamed Shawky, a member of the club’s board of directors and head of the mission in South Africa, Hossam Ghaly, a member of the board of directors, and Syed Abdel Hafeez, the football director, submitted an official complaint to the match observer to prove Al-Ahly’s right.

And the same source added: "Large numbers of Sun Downs fans crowded the road leading from the Al-Ahly mission hotel to the Soccer City stadium, where the team's match against the South African champion is being held, which led to the disruption of the mission's arrival at the match stadium."

The same source explained that the Al-Ahly bus had to take other paths than the specified path to reach the stadium;

This caused the Al-Ahly players to get tired and suffer before the current match.

Al-Ahly lost to Sun Downs with a clean goal on February 26.

Sun Downs leads the group with seven points, three points ahead of Al-Ahly.
