The home team Södertälje received eleventh-placed Tingsryds on Friday night - a Tingsryd that before tonight's match had seven points more than Södertälje.

Södertälje started the fastest and with about one minute left of the period, Jacob Dahlström was able to break the deadlock.

Then it took only 23 seconds before they increased their lead to 2-0 through Emil Aronsson.

Tingsryd's nice middle period

In the second period, Tingsryds wanted to make a match of it all - and as they did.

Three minutes into the period, the guests reduced to 2-1 through Kim Tallberg who controlled a return.

In numerical superiority, Alexander Lindelöf was able to equalize and only 14 seconds later the guests took the lead for the first time since Elias Gunnarsson shot the puck behind Nikita Tolopilo.

From a 2-0 deficit to a 3-2 lead in one period.

- It's fascinating.

That is part of the charm of hockey, says Tingsryd's Kim Tallberg to Cmore after the second period.

Broke tough away suite

Södertälje pressed for an equalizer and was close to several times but failed to score a third goal.

The guests won the match 3-2.

Tingsryds thus broke its tough away streak of five straight losses and also secures the hockey allsvenskan contract.

- Very nice, I am impressed with how we sacrifice ourselves in the last period.

It was strong of us to win tonight, says Tingsryd's Daniel Öhrn to Cmore.

For Södertälje, the loss means that they now have to win the last two matches to avoid a negative qualifier.
