Boudheeb Academy hosts the 14th week of the Jumping League

The Boudheeb Equestrian Academy in Al Khatim area in Abu Dhabi, on the covered hall field, will host the 14th week of the Emirates Longines Show Jumping League, which consists of 8 competitions. Longines is the sponsor of the league.

The importance of the week’s competitions is growing for the jockeys and jockeys affiliated with the equestrian clubs and centers in the UAE, as a qualifying meeting that brings together all categories of jockeys, and its activities take place one week before the Emirates Championship (23) for show jumping on the academy hall as well.

The competitions are held in accordance with the precautionary measures of the Corona epidemic (activating the Al-Hosn application), and the value of the prizes for the 14th week of the league is 300,000 dirhams, including incentives worth 100,000 dirhams for jumping jockeys from the UAE participating in the two competition days, and the first six in every competition.

The Equestrian Federation is represented in the week’s competitions by Hossam Zammit, the international jury is headed by Khalil Ibrahim, the competition tracks are designed by Hendrikus Linders, and the international Ali Mohajer supervises the fields with the help of a group of international supervisors.

Two competitions were allocated for each category, with different specifications and track according to what suits each level, for the category of jockeys, cubs and beginners, and for small jumping horses, age (4-5) years, a one-round competition, the height of its hurdles (100-105) cm, and the second of two stages Especially at the same height, and for second-level riders, (Juniors), and young horses (5-6) years old, a one-round competition on hurdles of (115-120) cm high, and their competition on the second day of two stages, especially on hurdles high (120) cm, and for first-level riders, the first competition is held with single-round specifications on hurdles (140) cm, and the second is in two special stages on hurdles (130) cm, and with single-round specifications with a round of differentiation, two competitions are held for level riders at a height of (140) cm, and height (130) ) cm.
