It was not a fun Friday for Stina Nilsson in Otepää, Estonia.

The 28-year-old was far from the same form compared to last week, and according to Nilsson, the problems started even before the start.

- It was a bit stressful before the start.

I had a small piece of tape in the diopter that I needed to get rid of.

It did not go away completely and it became a bit blurry lying down.

It was a bit challenging to shoot, says Nilsson to SVT Sport.

“Still happy

In total, there were five booms for Nilsson, three in horizontal and two in vertical, and she finished in 52nd place.

- Five booms is way too much.

I am still satisfied with how I worked with the shots standing and lying down, I did not have the right conditions, she says.

Shooting coach Jean-Marc Chabloz had not spoken to Stina Nilsson when SVT reached him after the race, but he had heard about her problems on the shooting range.

- I heard something about the diopter.

This can happen and it may have disturbed her, because the lying series was not a good series.

She shoots much better than that.

She has been stable in training and has good control of the wind.

Because there were no problems with the conditions, he says.

Must raise the minimum level

Chabloz says she has reached the goal for the season with third place last week in Kontiolahti.

But in order for Nilsson to be able to achieve better results more often than she does now, he believes that it is important that she raises the minimum level.

- If she shoots 0/0 or 0/1, she is there at the front.

But five booms, then you're gone.

I think she needs a little more experience to raise the minimum level and become a little more stable, he says.
