The decision to select Tiger Woods for the World Golf Hall of Fame was made two years ago - but the ceremony took place last night.
Then the 46-year-old got to step up on stage at PGA Tours headquarters.
Woods became emotional when he talked about his family.
- Without my mother's sacrifices, when she took me to all the junior competitions, and my father who gave me the work ethic, it would never have happened.
Nothing comes for free, everything must be earned.
If you do not give everything, it will not work, you do not deserve it.
He has won 82 PGA Tour races and 15 majors in his career.
Annika Sörenstam is the only Swede in the World Golf Hall of Fame.
