"AS" said that it had seen the Dutch referee's report on what Al-Khulaifi had done, in which it stated: The president of the Paris Saint-Germain club and the technical director showed violent behavior, and they tried to storm the arbitration room by force.
And the report continued: The moment we asked them to leave, they prevented us and closed the door, so they deliberately attacked the assistant referee’s flag, and broke it.”
The Spanish newspaper, which is close to the Real Madrid administration, stated that the royal club had prepared an integrated file with evidence and video footage, in order to include it in the referee’s report, and follow up on the president of Saint Germain and the director of the French club in the incident, while Saint Germain then sent an employee to calm the situation with the Real Madrid administration.
