It has been a long and once again corona-hit season for biathletes at the World Cup.

Sebastian Samuelsson still does not think there are too many competitions.

However, it will be a bit too much time away from home.

- It has been a special season.

I left home on January 4, then home 6-7 days after the Olympics and so on again.

So it is probably more the mental part of traveling and being away from home for a very long time that is difficult.

Physically, I think you could compete for a while longer, he says.

How do you cope with that time away from home?

- It happens that you talk a lot with those at home and then you get to have fun in the room.

Now we can not spend much time with the team, so there will be a lot of time alone in the hotel room.

For the most part, things are going well.

But you notice that you have to dig out more now than you needed at the beginning of the season to bring out the focus, says Samuelsson.

SVT Sport broadcasts today's sprint from Otepää at 14.20 on SVT1 and SVT Play.
