In the Beijing Paralympic Alpine Skiing, Giant Slalom Men's Giant Slalom, Taketa Koike advanced to 14th place for the second time.

Giant slalom is an event that requires both small turn technique and speed, and athletes slide twice and compete for the total time multiplied by a coefficient according to the degree of disability.



Forty-four people participated in the men's standing and sliding class, and Koike, who participated in five consecutive tournaments for the first time, was 14th at 1: 3: 05.

Yamato Aoki, who participated for the first time, finished 31st with a time of 1'10.99.

Masahiko Tokai, who participated in the two tournaments for the first time, was in 33rd place at 1: 11.40, and all three advanced to the second time.
