Mika Iwamoto did not advance to the semi-finals in 15th place in qualifying.
Iwamoto said, "I think she's out of power. She's been working hard and hopefully she's going to the semi-finals. She's disappointed because she wanted to slip more."
She then said she was enthusiastic about the remaining events, saying, "Because it's a long distance next time, I'd like to do my best to reach the end while considering the pace distribution."
