French star Karim Benzema scored three goals to lead Real Madrid to an exciting victory over its guest Paris Saint-Germain 3-1, and seize the qualification to qualify for the quarter-finals of the European Football Championship, and Manchester City qualified for the same role despite a goalless draw with its guest Sporting Lisbon.

Real Madrid beat Saint Germain 3-2 on aggregate, as the Royal lost in the first leg of the final price match 1-0.

Manchester City qualified

Manchester City qualified for the Champions League quarter-finals after a 0-0 draw at the Etihad Stadium with Portugal's Sporting Lisbon, in the second leg of the eighth-finals on Wednesday.

But Pep Guardiola's team snatched the qualification ticket after winning 5-0 away from the Portuguese team last month.

Guardiola dreams of winning the Champions League with City, after reaching the final last year before losing to Chelsea.
