So there, we say hats off, Sir Andy Murray.
On the sidelines of the Indian Wells tournament which begins Thursday in the United States, the Scotsman announced on Twitter that he would donate all of the winnings he will receive in 2022 to help children victims of the war in Ukraine .
UNICEF Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Andy Murray recalled that "more than 7.5 million children are threatened by the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine" and that he was therefore committed to "helping to provide emergency medical supplies and early childhood development kits” during the conflict.
Over 7.5m children are at risk with the escalating conflict in Ukraine, so I'm working with @UNICEF_uk to help provide urgent medical supplies and early childhood development kits.

UNICEF mobilizes for Ukrainian children
“Life-saving education continues, which is why Unicef is working to enable access to learning for displaced children, to support the rehabilitation of damaged schools and the replacement of equipment and furniture.
I will be donating my prize money income for the rest of the year (…).
Children in Ukraine need peace.
Now,” he wrote.
On the BBC, he detailed the reasons for his commitment at length, explaining that this was the least he could do.
“You feel a little helpless [in the face of the footage coming in from Ukraine], but this is the best way for me to help – to draw attention to this and try to raise as much money as possible, continued the 34-year-old.
I hope this will help the children to continue their studies and to obtain clean water and psychological support.
