The Russians in most sports are faced with a tough position of international federations, dictated by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

Lawyers are preparing documents in CAS, but there is no certainty that the decision will be made in favor of the Russians.

The simplest solution is to limit ourselves to internal competitions.

However, even in those sports where the competition in the national team is quite strong, as, for example, in figure skating, this is unlikely to satisfy anyone.

And first of all, the fans.

There are enough stars in the country: Kamila Valieva, Alexandra Trusova, Elizaveta Tuktamysheva, Anna Shcherbakova, Alena Kostornaya.

The youth is coming.

But for most viewers, it is much more interesting to worry about them when girls fight Japanese, American, Canadian women.

The situation is similar in other disciplines.

It is not surprising that during a working meeting with representatives of national federations at the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, a proposal was made to create competitions in which the CIS and BRICS countries could take part.

There are several options for conducting.

You can make domestic championships open to foreigners or create new commercial formats.

This idea was supported by the honored coach of Russia Tatyana Tarasova.

“Interesting decision.

For a change, I think the option is very good.

Will we have no competition with China?

Why did you write off people.

Everyone goes out to work for themselves.

It doesn't matter what the countries are.

As for the list of states, I think they will be quite enough, ”the specialist said in an interview with Sport-Express.

The second path is more complicated, and it makes sense to follow it if the confrontation with Europe drags on for a long time, and international federations do not begin to lift restrictions.

We are talking about the creation of independent Eurasian associations for various types.

In this case, Russian athletes will have the opportunity to travel to other countries for competitions held under the auspices of these organizations.

At the same time, the president of the All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics, Irina Viner-Usmanova, suggested inviting representatives of other Asian states.

“In addition to China and the rest, I would also include Mongolia there.

I just talked about this with Oleg Matytsin.

We want to participate in Asian competitions.

We are Eurasia.

We can show ourselves there.

So the athletes will have at least some practice.

It is very important for them,” Viner-Usmanova said.

However, this format is not suitable for everyone.

In the case of football, this will significantly affect the entertainment.

According to the honorary president of the RFU, Vyacheslav Koloskov, the association with clubs from Asia and the CIS will lead to a large number of passing matches.

“I have doubts from a sporting point of view.

Many say our Premier League should be reduced to 8-12 clubs.

They want there to be competition and fewer outsiders.

The task of the RFU through this prism is to see how useful such an association will be for them.

Yes, there used to be great teams - Dynamo Minsk, Dynamo Kiev.

Now there are no such teams in terms of strength.

I would advise RFU analysts to carefully study the lineups, teams, their level.

There is only one idea - to keep the competitiveness of the league, ”said Koloskov.

The specialist also noted another important point: international organizations can in every possible way prevent such associations of Eurasian countries.

“So far, the RFU and the Football Federation of Belarus have not been excluded from membership in FIFA and UEFA.

We obey the laws that are there.

Any association of this kind requires their consent.

The idea must be agreed upon.

You can't play in the dark.

In this case, we can be excluded, ”the specialist added.

The Russians also have another unpopular way to solve the problem - changing sports citizenship.

However, this radical step only makes sense for those who have lived abroad for many years, as in the case of cyclist Pavel Sivakov.

He was born and raised in Europe, got two passports and ended up choosing France.

According to Olympic medalist Irina Slutskaya, if one of the stars of domestic sports changes citizenship, he will look like a traitor in the eyes of the fans.

“Those athletes who cannot break through in our country and just want to take part in international competitions are thinking about changing their citizenship.

Will Russian skaters become traitors to the fans if they play for another team?

Judging by the fact that in our time you will be bad in any scenario, then yes.

The information war was born quickly and will continue for a long time.

As it turned out, there are few adequate and kind people in our country, ”Slutskaya quotes “Sport day after day”.

By the way, the application for the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing included 14 figure skaters who were born in Russia and represented other countries.

The national teams of Georgia, Belarus and Azerbaijan consisted entirely of such athletes, and Maurice Kvitelashvili and Vladimir Litvintsev even became the flag bearers of their teams at the opening ceremony.

Also, former domestic athletes competed for Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Ukraine.

The President of the Sambo-70 Sports and Education Center, Renat Laishev, in turn, suggested waiting a bit with decisions and trying to understand what was happening.

However, he once again emphasized that now no one is thinking about changing sports citizenship.

“I am sure that this difficult time will pass, and we will begin a different form of life.

Now it is too early to talk about something - everything is only on the awareness of what is happening.

Definitely, we are with our beloved country.

We will continue to educate patriots.

They are now needed by the state, ”said the specialist in an interview with Sport24.
