We have specially formulated the "Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympic Games Disabled Services Knowledge Manual", so that barrier-free facilities and barrier-free services complement each other.

There are a large number of disabled people working in our factories, schools, and administrative units. Currently, we have more than a dozen disabled people in the Winter Olympics Organizing Committee.

China's overall development of the cause of the disabled and the care for the disabled group are clearly stipulated in the Constitution, the basic law "Civil Code" and the "Law on the Protection of Persons with Disabilities". [Explanation] Before the opening of the 2022 Winter Paralympics, a total of 140,000 barrier-free sites were renovated, rebuilt and newly added in Beijing, which was 7.7 times that of the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
The process of building a "city of two Olympics" has greatly contributed to the formation of a more inclusive, equitable and friendly cultural environment in Beijing.
