NPB officially decided to hold up to 12 times this season for the first time in 3 years at the executive committee of 12 teams held on the 7th.
Also, in the prefecture where the game is played, even if the priority measures such as spread prevention are extended until after the 25th of this month when both leagues start, the policy is to do it up to 12 times.
Atsushi Ihara, Executive Secretary of NPB, said, "If the situation becomes extremely terrible, we need to make appropriate decisions, but in the current situation, we will extend it up to 12 times."
